Four lithographs of Bavarian cows, 1853

These lithographs were produced in celebration of Bavaria's long tradition of breeding cattle, they depict the finest specimens of each lineage. The handsome engravings are done by Mr B Adam.  

They have been framed in a bold chevron patterned marquetry moulding which sets off the colours of the cattle very well.
