Four botanical engravings by Benjamin Maund

Published in London in 1843 these copper engravings show hardy ornamental plants from Europe and beyond. They are scientifically accurate, exquisitely hand-coloured, and have minimal foxing making these an absolute find.  They have been framed in a handmade frame which beautifully complements the colours and romantic nature of the subjects.
