19th century Kingfisher etching in brass frame

This eye catching little fellow sparkles with iridescence, which leads us to believe the pretty colours on this antique etching are not contemporary with the engraving. This said, the decoration suits him well and this makes an enchanting piece framed in the delicate gilt moulding with ribbon detail. 

It would look wonderful glinting at a bedside.
