Nine Engravings from Nicholas Culpeper's Complete Herbal, 1900

These beautiful illustrations of British and foreign herbs and their medicianal purposes have been framed to accentuate their fresh greens and create an impact. Nicholas Culpeper was a legendary British Botanist in the eighteenth century and these later editions of his work are absolutely fascinating. They would look stunning massed around a bed offering a strong wash of colour.
